Bucket List: CHIANG MAI, THAILAND

May 4, 2020 //  by Kim//  Leave a Comment

I’ve wanted to go to Chiang Mai for a long time. And reading this trip report from Two Wandering Soles got me even more excited to plan a trip there.

I already knew that I wanted to sample lots of food and see elephants, and now I have more information about how and where to see elephants more ethically.

I also discovered that I want to hike the sticky waterfalls, hike the Pilgrim’s Path, take a Thai cooking class, and maybe even catch the Loy Krathong and Yi Peng festivals in November!

I hope that our trip reports here on Trip Reporter inspire you as much as this one inspired me!

Have you been to Chiang Mai! What else would you recommend for someone going there for the first time?

About Kim

I am a wife and mom of three kids. I am also a traveler and a writer. Our family has been traveling together since my husband and I were newlyweds. On our first trip to Hawaii when our oldest daughter was 6 months old we tried to soak it all in because we thought it would be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. But with some learning, ingenuity, and flexibility we have made family travel part of our lifestyle.
