These activities are designed to help your kids get excited for each activity and enjoy them more.
The Activity Book is recommended for kids ages 5-10.
You will receive a printable PDF copy of each book. Feel free to print multiple copies for your household or access the content digitally.

The Planning Guide had a wonderful range of activities for families with a variety of interests! I especially loved the “Local’s Tip” listed with each activity to help with planning! The recommended year long plan and seasonal recommendations are very helpful for deciding when to enjoy each activity. I loved the Kid’s Activity Book! Each destination has a fun description and activity that children can complete to enhance their experiences. I think my children will especially enjoy using the stickers to fill in their “Capital Region Adventure” pathway! We have lived in the Capital Region for 4 years, but had not heard of many of these destinations and we are excited to check them out with our children!

I have lived in the Capital Region for nearly 16 years, and these books have inspired me to explore with my family. I thought we’d done a pretty good job, but these books gave me so many new ideas! Each page has helpful information and tips, and I love the calendar and eye-catching map page. The activity book is well thought-out and has a wide variety of ideas to keep kids of all ages engaged (while also sneaking in some great learning!). A fantastic combination!
